Although it is nice to see all of the interconnected references between the movies, I am not particularly interested by it. A few fit, but the whole theory feels forced together for the sake of including all of them. The monsters Inc. part in particular ruined it for me.

It's a really cool collection of easter eggs, but I don't think it means anything special.

The Monsters Inc. one is even unnecessary as they are obviously on a separate world (or dimension or whatever) and travel to the human world so twisting it to time travel doesn't really help.
