Broadhead arrow glitch

When firing broadhead arrows from regular dispensers at the same time, it looks as though two arrows have been fired from one. I found this when I was setting up a trap with the dispensers having a 2 block gap inbetween them.

Can you post a screenshot of your setup? I'm having a hard time visualizing what you mean.

EDIT: I just tested with 2 dispenser one on top of the other and it appears to work fine. I'll really need a screenshot to be able to tell what's going on here.

I'm not sure how to post screen shots so i'll try and use some sort of diagram:

They are wired up so they fire at the same time and they arrows are on one side as if one dispenser fired 2 arrows.

So wait, are the dispensers firing *at each other*, or both firing in the same direction?

EDIT: Ok, I just tested both the dispensers firing at each other, and them firing in the same direction with no problems at all.

I really have no idea what you're talking about here man, and strongly suspect it's a bug in your circuit that is causing one dispenser to fire twice.

Don't you think maybe one of the arrows is rebounding on you and hitting the wall?

I tried something like that. Might be helpful if I could see your circuit.

Also, can you try throwing some items on it to eliminate the rebound possibility mentioned above?

I tried with the item and it's not rebounding. I also checked with the vanilla arrows ant they work fine. Anyway, heres the link to the pic of my wiring:

Try checking how many arrows are missing from the dispensers to see if one is really firing twice.

Just checked, they are both losing 1 arrow each.

Then try looking closely and use a button or lever to get a good look.

It does the same thing with a lever and a button.
Can someone else try this kind of setup?

Ok, I just duplicated your exact circuit and it works just fine. No idea what to say at this point man, so unless someone else can duplicate this, there's nothing I can do to help you.

I'll lock this thread in 24 hours and consider it a problem with your particular install unless others can verify it.
