Sad confession: I actually got it wrong at first, 'cause I glanced at it briefly. I thought it read "Do you know where _____ going?". Herpa derp.

Wow, this is hilarious! "Perhaps you'd like to read a book instead" This would seriously cut the number of people on the internet in half at least. It would definitely reduce the number of 14 year olds who only know chat speak.

While we're on the subject, I saw a great signature over on MCF:
"If English is your first language, please have at least a basic understanding of how it works." XD

Kingdom of Loathing (a php-based browser game) uses a system similar to this (although a bit longer, being a humor RPG the test is given by The Ghost of the English Language) that you have to pass before you're allowed to use the chat :D

After failing my first attempt, it's funny how I just had to get it right twice to make things right.

Indeed; what you should have said is:

I'm pretty sure if you're 14 but don't know chat speak, you're excluded from the group '14 year olds who only know chat speak'.

damned 14 years old getting offended by everything.

No, the fault is of the 18+ year olds blaming it on minors like me and him. (Although I'm 15 so I'm far more mature. Right? :P)

I wasn't saying that all 14 year olds only know chat speak. I was just referring to the 14 year olds that did fall under that category. I wasn't talking about you at all, so I really don't know why you're getting all defensive.
