I began to suspect when you posted you wanted to kick a puppy, but this proves it! You do have legs!

He calls it a knee because its the closest word our tiny minds can comprehend.

How do you think the knee got skinned in the first place?

Lol! Nice :)

I was having great fun on IRC last night playing-up my skinned knee. I don't think I've had one of those since I was a kid, so reverting to a pseudo-child state seemed appropriate ;)

The bigger problem however seems to be my twisted ankle and the general lack of mobility I have at present.

Ah well, such are the hazards of the par-tay :)

Damnit! The one time I have actual, useful skills for you! ... And they require actual physical proximity. Damn you and your being 'who knows where'! :)

Limited mobility is the latest trend, it's all the rage these days!

I have doctor's orders to use my knee as little as possible and take prescription painkillers - aka sit in front of my computers and munch happy pills ;) (just too bad it's not the same pills as in the army, they had me staring at snowflakes for 5 hours straight)

*quietly slides twisted-ankle ritual materials under bed*

Look on the bright side: at least now you'll have even more time to code! Won't that be fun!

Ah, this is why I love my family's trait of skin like tanned leather. I never get skinned knees or anything.

That just means you're not trying hard enough. Completely falling at making a turn on a longboard should do it. ;-) It did for me last summer..

I actually did try that a few years back. It certainly hurt, but my knee's skin was intact.

In that case I can recommend playing volleyball inside without a pair of these:

Before I got myself a pair my knees were practically permanently skinned ... I know I could/should have improved my falling technique but well ... that takes effort. ;)

Yeah, I used to play indoor volleyball a lot, I went through so many pairs of pants. And quite a few skinned knees.
And HOW!

Between being into parkour, and riding mopeds, I have skinned pretty much all of me at one point or another. These days I'm more likely to dislocate a knee than skin it. Stupid degenerative cartilage. "No, Mr Wayne, I can't suggest you go 'heli-skiing'"

Pft. Age ain't nothin' but a number... that indicates how old you are.
