I've noticed that turntables receiving a redstone signal actually operate in reverse and searches of the version update posts here, the wiki and the MCF post show no results regarding this "feature," so I'm unsure if this is a bug or merely a feature that didn't make it onto the Wiki. (thus the presence here and not in the support forum)
I've confirmed it in RenEvo's test world running BTW alone but I first noticed it while, and as a result thought it was a consequence of, running other mods with the following load order:
MystCraft,
Dynamic Lights,
BTW,
Millenaire,
Optifine,
BtB,
CodeChickenCore (needed for NEI),
NEI,
Rei's Minimap
and the BTB collection plus Inventory Tweaks in the .minecraft\mods directory
Turntables Reversing with a Redstone Signal
Re: Turntables Reversing with a Redstone Signal
It is intended. I actually base my stoking off of it :)

Thanks. Fixed :)Aldermeer wrote:so I'm unsure if this is a bug or merely a feature that didn't make it onto the Wiki.
Better Than Wolves was borne of anal sex. True Story.
Re: Turntables Reversing with a Redstone Signal
Ah, you're right, the OP does not appear to have any mention of this.
Although interestingly, I've been aware of this behavior despite never taking advantage of it, which leads me to believe that at some point it was mentioned there... either that, or I learned it from the old demonstration videos.

Re: Turntables Reversing with a Redstone Signal
It was mentioned somewhere, i knew it happened despite never using it myself.
Re: Turntables Reversing with a Redstone Signal
The recipe is also a nice indicator for such things. Whenever there is redstone involved in the recipe, the device normally interacts with it.
Re: Turntables Reversing with a Redstone Signal
It was mentioned in the original release notes for the update when turntables were released IIRC.
FlowerChild: Ice in deserts is a good idea
Re: Turntables Reversing with a Redstone Signal
It was also in Flower's video showcasing it although I think he had to take all his videos down. It is a feature allowing toggle gates to be set up. You can also do it with two redstone torches instead though.
