Mmmh, in the saw tree farm video, I think I'll be able to replicate it mostly, but had 2 questions:

Do you have to manually put the saplings into the block dispenser? If not, how do you get em in there?

Second one would be the water, is that also done with a block dispenser? I guess you could do it now with a piston if you're low on mossy cobblestone ( Wich I currently am on a relatively new world ).

Juste every now and then, but since there's 64x9 sapplings in the dispenser, that's like once every two weeks (irl)

Yeah, pistons are cheaper floodgates than the BD now ;)

Just noticed and watched the bio clock vid. That works for reeds and hemp so well @.@ Since I was planning on making a automated wheat farm my elaborate plan was to set up a three day clock (guesswork, havent checked how long it takes for wheat to grow) using redstone. Instead of making just one large clock I was going to make several smaller ones each with different cycles. Was going to use clock activated pistons that would allow the next clock to send a signal to the next piston until finally the last clock sends signal to w/e output (which in this case would have been my farms). I still plan on trying to make one though. For the learning of redstone wiring if anything. I do enjoy my steep learning curves =)

Nice! Is the difference in updating time due to wiring or the dispensers being in different chunks?

Also, if you haven't already: check your PM :)

That is pretty damn epic 1 question tho excuse me if this sounds stupid but i am kinda tired. How on earth are u able to power all those block dispensers? Can't place anything under or above them so it almost has to be from the back but as far as i know redstone doesn't float :/ Probably this is just being me overlooking something pretty obvious so again sorry if it is :)

i would be gratefull if you could make a pic or vid of the backside of the screen. i'm really interesstet how you do it cause i often have the problem with stuff so close togeather that they activate and interact with each other. or does on wire activate more than just one block dispenser?

I tried, but sadly failed. The only solution I came up with would be to make it 4 times bigger, and make pixels made with 2x2 BD.

Well, I've made my first attempt at replicating your wood factory, it's sorta working, only a few problems, maybe you know what to do to fix it:

The problem is that sometimes the block dispenser sucks up the bottom log, and I'm not sure why it does that, I've added several delays now, wich might have fixed it, but could be that it's just unlucky that the wrong leaf block dissapears first?

Lastly, wich goes a bit hand in hand with the previous question I guess, the logs aren't being cut in together, the mechanical part is a direct copy of yours, so I'm at a loss why that is. At the moment it's not that bad, since I only lose about 4 planks at most when it happens.

Sorry if this is being a pain, but thought you might be able to give some insight ^^

ps.: I'm rather proud I got it semi working already, took me a while to get the redstone going in the right way, then I realised I could power the power dispenser from next to the saw, wich made it a lot easier to have the flood gate open without messing things up ^^

edit.: fixed one of the problems, only big problem still is the log being sucked up and it's placed instead of a sapling, even though a sapling is in the top left.
