so, I've been working with terrain generation for a bit, you know in case the vote passes. I can say, I really hope the vote passes cause it will be a tad bit more than

re-gen a map with LargeBiomes

I'm a little worried about the size the map is going to be too however keeping it limited is a good idea. How large an area we thinking though? Because if we aren't too spread out making personal bases would get a little tricky.... Specially in BTW. However if we could get floating island bases/expansions if we ran out of room I could dig it.

On the topic of terrain generation, what about ore generation? Anything cool with that?

I believe that PK an I were talking about a 10k x 10k map and I have yet to do anything with ore generation. As for floating islands I think you will all enjoy what I've come up with :)

If we do go through with the map reset I'm not entirely opposed, although I wouldn't mind if you uploaded the old map so I could maphack my compound into my SP world.

As for server names, something involving 420 would probably be easiest, since your name is pretty much the only identifying thing on the name right now.

That's a thing I'll do for sure, I got dropbox which will help me there, I'll post a link to a .zip of the world so you guys can do whatever you'd like.

I'll try to hook the server up to something like btw.pk-420.com or wathever, the sub-domain isn't decided yet.
I'll tell you when I start using it instead of the IP [it will be more reliable if our ISP decides to change our IP, which already happened in the past.. :( ]

You need a catchy name that sticks in peoples minds, one with a cool motto. Back in 1.8 Broscraft got tons of people joining it because the name was better than the server called "survival.muttsworldmine.com". you should have a brainstorm/poll it decide what you want the server name to be. but whatever suits u is fine.

While I agree that an actual name for the server other than PK420 or somthing like that would be nice, I don't think we really want droves of people trying to join because of a catchy name :P We get new applicants fairly regularly and have a decent sized community already as it is. As for a couple suggestions

GringoTown (Just name the server the same as our spawn village)
MegaChunk (Since we're gonna be on a large limited cube with the new map if i understand correctly)
or again for the standard route PK420.
