Thanks Anbaric for keeping this texture pack updated. Vanilla is impossible to play with with after playing with this texture pack, its like someone vomited on my screen after eating an entire crayon set.

The current system never sat well with me once I realised I had infinite food and only one or two of them shined well above the rest.

You don't, lava was way to powerful a fuel source anyway.
For large amounts of stone, either use your coal or you can cook them up in a stoked crucible which uses no fuel.

From what i've heard, you will still be able to install any program just like you always could, but you have to jump through some hoops to be able to be listed in something like the "official" games section. I think that allows certain features of windows 8. Maybe it's similar to the games...

Yep its true, i've been using them to find any problem areas around my village/base. It's always those one or two blocks that are just too far away from a torch that cause the issues =P. Recently i've been considering finding a mod to disable the ability of enderman to pick up anything because I was sick of seeing misplaced dirt blocks evemorywhere for no real reason. Guess I won't need that anymore

Is there anywhere I can find a little more information on this power drain thing? I had a look at the wiki and couldnt find a reference but there is indeed an option in the config with a short description.

Yep, it does output in realtime. But its only a viewer so sometimes I have it on another monitor or something just to watch whats going on outside. The people who are struggling to enjoy the game, I dunno if you've tried this but I never would have played DF if it wasn't for the video tutorials. Eve...
