Re: Panda and Raust's BTW Addon Rough Draft.
Balance? In terms of balance the refined sword is usless with the battle axe in the picture, with this you now have a reason to craft one. Im simply giving new life to a forgotten tool by giving it more functionality. No need to nerf damage on it. : ) Panda, I'm sorry, but I'm beginning to reconsid...

You did add that, I think he meant btb Ah...cool. I thought I was losing it (whatever little of it I have left) for a second there :) Yeah, I'll probably do the open-hand thing on pistons and such when I have a moment. I really don't like the idea of having a separate item to do it. I think most mo...

Heh, yes, you probably had something to do with the erosion of my love of wolves, but I think most of the credit goes to Jonkagstrom, that bastard :)
Anyway, I'm both excited and terrified to see the final product of this FC :)

Re: Companion Cart add-on (unreleased, discussion thread)
Forcing a poor companion cube onto a rollercoaster... This may be the most heartless thing I have seen on these boards. It's like a dream came true :) I've been torturing wolves like this for ages, keeping one stuck into a cart, making it run back and forth indefinitely. This will be even better. I...

I'd really like this idea. Not only would it make exploration more dangerous again, but it would give potions of healing an actual use.

Re: Companion Cart add-on (unreleased, discussion thread)
I love this. And Raust, you mentioned this under the worst suggestions thread too? C'mon man, this is awesome. Well it seemed like a horrible idea to SUGGEST, and I wasn't sure if I was still on suggestion probation at any rate, so I thought I'd just make it myself, what with the minimal effort nee...

Re: Companion Cart add-on (unreleased, discussion thread)
Actually, Raust, do you mind if I grab this idea and integrate it into the mod? With the work I'm doing on the Hopper Cart, doing something like this would be extremely easy for me to tag on to the code, it doesn't consume a blockID, it totally suits the running gag of the Companion Cube in BTW, an...

Aesthetic. Depending on what (if any) function Companion Cubes get later, I might be able to apply it to Companion Carts as well though.Ulfengaard wrote:I say again: wolfaboo. I'm curious, though: are there any practical uses for my C^3(tm)? Or is this just aesthetic?

Companion Cart add-on (unreleased, discussion thread)
So yeah, I've kinda been living in fear that one day Companion Cubes will actually be integrated into the BTW tech tree and I'll actually have to make one. This is my plan for such an eventuality: Companion Carts. Yes, the ability to put companion cubes in minecarts and wheel them around. "For ...

Re: Your worst suggestion.
One time I was on the verge of suggesting Companion Carts.
I don't know what I was on, but I was scared that companion cubes might become a required part of the tech tree, and I at least wanted to be able to let them move around (in some way) while I didn't need them.

Re: Panda and Raust's BTW Addon Rough Draft.
Why doesn't this air cannon incorporate a bellows and a mechanism for powering said bellows? Using magic to explain its properties when there is a mechanical option right there makes it seem sillier than it needs to be the reason it does not incorporate a bellow is because it is not a bellow, bello...

Stumbled upon this indie game which is similar to Terraria. Epic Inventor zy6DJsP-BZY I LOVE that game... But they dropped mac support "temporarily", and at least 4 months later it still hasn't returned. *cries* Well, thought I'd mention a couple from one of my favorite genres: Tactical R...

Hey Kaos! When you return to working on this, you'll be happy to know that you've got yourself another fan, and another person who's going to add this to their LP!

Re: My Idol.
Hm... I suppose the closest thing I have to an idol is Richard Jacques, the guy who did the music for Sonic 3D Blast for the Sega Saturn. It was the first game I ever played, and the music for it was phenomenal, I'm positive it's what made me fall in love with video game music. One song in particula...

Hey, does the infernal enchanter work on non-soulforged-steel equipment, or is it a "one or the other" system?

Re: [SPOILERS] 3.80 feature discovery thread
After a rather long time of butchering any and all (save two) wolves not set up in underground poop factories I have not found a scroll for wolves yet. I hope there is one. Time to make more baby wolves and lather, rinse, repeat the culling. An incentive to kill lots and lots of wolves. This has go...

Re: [SPOILERS] 3.80 feature discovery thread
Foes that drop more experience to make that absurdly steep XP curve more feasible? Well it could be that FC is working with 1.3 experience system in mind (in which the XP requirements for higher levels are much less geometric). Maybe, but it seems odd for him to not just temporarily reduce the XP r...

Re: [SPOILERS] 3.80 feature discovery thread
I feel absolutely crazy thinking this way, but I can't help it, I can't shake the feeling... I think we might be getting some new mobs at some point in the future. Unless each mob drops multiple different scroll types, there's simply no way all 21 existing enchantments could be obtainable purely thr...
