For a long while now CubeWorld has been in development, an alpha was released and subsequently purchased and played by many. Since then there were a couple small updates to fix bugs and the sort, but Wollay, the creator essentially went dark. In the years since the alpha release I found a discord server which had members with closer ties to Wollay, which showed that he and his wife were plugging away at the game making it into whatever they dreamed of. Now, on this day we see the next page... CubeWorld is coming to Steam as a full release and all those that had alpha keys will be given steam keys!

Yeah, looks like the official release is still TBD, the steam platform will at least give them a better way to release and distribute updates.

Oh nice the beta is playable next week. That's a good sign. Got my steam key so I'll definitely try it out.

Yepp! Also looks like they just set the release date on steam for Sept 30th, so there will be a week of closed-beta for all the alpha testers!
