We are back with a new Season!
This time we are rebooting our Season 3 world. And can you believe it, we are running CE for the first time :P A bit late, but we are here to party!
Check out the Season 3 OP in the spoiler at the bottom, if you need to read up on what our spawn looked like, or just join :)

There will be no whitelist, but for access contact Sockthing on Discord.
I will give you the Server-Player role, so you can see the hidden #server-info text channel with all needed Infos to play.

Here is just a short list of our rules. Same as always.

- This a community server. But you can have your own place too.

Here we are again! Last Season sadly faded out. But some good fun playing with Dawn’s Better Terrain Add-on. Also much thanks for Lanny and Linda for basically carrying us in the later stages of this Season. Thanks to everyone who joined last Season!

This Season we are using BTA again, as well as many new Add-ons like Hiracho’s Fatty Food Add-on! A full list of all Add-on we are using you can find below under “Installs Needed” or on our Discord under #server-info.

And as always we want to try and work together on spawn, but everyone is free to make a base somewhere else!

Just don't forget that this is a community server and we try and coordinate together. Spawn will be our hub and will be developed together.

When you die and realise you are the first in that area, try and make a base and if you find your way home and mark a clear path or build a road back to spawn. Eventually we will try to join HC-Spawn bases together via the Nether. I think you get the idea.

As we said the last times: "Take what you need, but try and give back as much or more."

Maybe you want to respawn somewhere in the wild? Be my guest. Just remember, as this is a community server and spawn will be our hub. Here we build together and share our progresses we have made in our groups or alone. When you die, try and mark a way home. I think you get the idea. As we said the last times: "Take what you need, but try and give back as much or more."

Without a village at spawn and spawn being extreme hills I hope to see a wonderful base to develop over time :D

The server is really picking up now. Tons of new projects have opened up. Here is my basic list:

-Fully automate all vegetables (namely, wheat and melons for eventual animal automation).

-Build nether mob farm for skulls & gold.

-Beacons Beacons Beacons

-Improved Squid and Ghast farms so we can complete scientist trades.

-Aqueduct network around spawn so we don't need to embed everything in the ground. Helps with automating farming.

-Semi-Auto mortar applicator!

-We need more castles.

-Auto-saw? Maybe charcoal kilns?

Exciting times ahead.

Week 1 report
Long were the early days and very few had died. Eventually death came to visit, but that didn't hinder our adventure.

After a week of the server being online we have achieved windmill, waterwheel, saws, cauldron, crucible, simple kiln and the portal to the Nether was opened. Some exploration resulted in 2 enchantment tables, chopping blocks (no vessel) and a brewing stand isn't far away.

So far to say we are progressing well and the first steps towards a mob trap have been made.

Labor needed both at home and on the frontier!

Our world has reached a point of significant industrial leverage. We have a crucible, saw, grindstone, packer, tube kiln, and some animals (dog and chickens). In order to truly dominate spawn, we really need two things: coal and clay for light and planters! In the long term, we need t find villagers and some kind of vegetable to feed us.

If you aren't huge on the early game, then this is a great time to hop on! If you offer some of your time to dig for clay, expand the nether grid, or mine for coal, I am sure we can arrange some tools and building materials for you to start your own base/settlement/house. Of course, you are welcome to stay in spawn, though be careful about eating too much and don't forget to gather eggs in the morning.

-The central portal is atop a nearby mountain. It has been fortified, but beware spiders! The nether grid can be accessed from there. Feel free to dig out the grid in any direction, but don't forget to place cobblestone in stacks of 64 with some other block in between to mark distances.

The Community Server is well into its industrial revolution. The valley beneath the nether mountain have been transformed into a lively hub of artifice.

Sock has also been orchestrating what is probably the largest nether network anybody has ever devised. Thousands upon thousands of tunnels dug containing over a hundred portals.

Come forth ye unwashed masses, the tenements need filling. Next step: conquering the dragon and claiming the end!

I thought I'd just drop a note here letting those interested know that Season 3 has come to an end.

This world was absolutely amazing, and it features the largest organized nether network I think ever made.

Yes. Last season we got stranded in HC Spawn after getting tricked by the dragon. So I decided never again, and together we built a Nether Network of RIngs of Portals (at 2k, 3k, 4k and 8k overworld distance) around a central portal.

We built 100+ Portals and most, if not all, Obsidian was manually mined.
In order to keep track of all the portals we made a Google Doc.

A little bump here to let everyone know the server is back up, hosting the season 3 world. This is the world that has the massive spawn city, SFS beacon, and many other amazing landmarks. It also boasts the largest complete nether grid ever devised, covering the entire HC Spawn range!

The server has been updated to CE 1.3.X and uses a slew of new addons. For help with installation, come to the discord.

Server might not always be super active, but it is an invaluable resource for players looking to play with high tech or just relax in the glow of progress.
