Why hampers are a good change

Post by jackatthekilns »

I thought I was going to hate the new change to chests. I started a new world to see how the new changes felt and I realized that even though my base is near a swamp, by the time I had enough iron to make an iron axe, I hadn't made a single basket. I planted sugar with the plan to make baskets, but I found iron faster. Now that effort into growing sugar feels more needed.

I'm still digging baskets over hampers. You can fit them into one block high gaps, use them as steps, and get contents out quicker. Plus, I just love the non-GUI feel. It's less distracting and easier to use with my game controller setup.
