Well, it’s been a long time, but I’ve finally gotten back into playing BTW, and I’d like to drag some of you in with me. I originally planned to name this server New Beginnings, but after talking to some people about it, The Gates to Hell was the only logical name for the server. I set this server up the other day, so a certain number of people are already on the whitelist, but we’re looking to expand over here in The Pit, our relatively small spawn add that we have going. Welcome all and enjoy the server!

Rules are simple:

4. No, I’m not dragging you back from your hardcore spawn, live with the mistake.

Endermen are a pain but atleast you can hear them! Daang creepers get me all the time.

I'm a technician on my dayjob. Micro-electronics, programming etc. Currently provisioning peoples house with fibre broadband.
As to why you should add me? *shrug* I live on the other side of the world so its rare anyone will see me online but I have the urge to do a play-through in a community again.

2. Preference: Early-game, Mid-game, or Late-game
Mid-game. I love automation but I love the challenge of achieving this whilst having available resources and technology limited

3. Priority: Aesthetics or Automation?
I flip from one to the other. My last server I started making a super structure base and didn't get around to doing my usual automation so this time I think I will concentrate on automation.

4. Which mob do you hate most and why is it endermen?
Im fine with endermen. It's slimes that do me in. They are persistent so if you live near a swamp the numbers build up everywhere, in caves, in the rivers. You can't ignore them until they go away like a creeper.

5. Apples or oranges?
Apples. As a technician on the road nothing beats a fruit I can eat while driving that doesn't require peeling

I'm a cider man these days, again back to the apple :D

Automation; unfortunately I've never been good at aesthetics

When exploring caves, skeletons for sure. Been sniped countless times.

I Enjoy long walks on the beach, hatsie watching, and enslaving entire colonies of villagers to take my unwanted items. You should add me because I make a good hatsie detector/sacrifice.

I enjoy mid/late game, haven't played to much early game on my own so I would love to do it with others to chat with.

The clunky mechanical look of automation is aesthetically pleasing, so I am not sure the question?

Damn endermen man, one second they are there, the next they misty step behind your ass and sneak attack you for an extra 3d6 piercing damage.

I love making contraptions! whether it's a fully automated farm, or a toggleable light system, or just a simple elevator, i'm always building new things and willing to help out with the guts of others creations!

Honestly, i love them all, early game for the challange, mid for the sense of progression, and late for all the fun things you can do.

skeletons. those bastards always ALWAYS shoot me from the dark, and whittle me down to the point i can't kill them anymore.

I pretty much only play BTW as opposed to Banilla or other mods, Mostly SSP. I’ve been wanting to play with others at the very early stages of a server, as I feel the challenge would be extra fun with others. Have experience on Amalga a couple of years ago.

2. Preference: Early-game, Mid-game, or Late-game
I like all three, but mostly prefer early and mid game as I feel like I haven’t yet “earned” access to late game stuff since most of the difficulty was ratcheted up. Would like to finally “earn” it with some friends :-)

3. Priority: Aesthetics or Automation?
Practicality over appearance is my playstyle. I like to learn about both though.

Though endermen will always suck, it’s the obnoxious sniper skeletons that I hate the most. I feel that if you can’t lure them to you (or are already too weak to survive a face off), you have to hide until you heal up to face them. Jerks have wasted hours of my life this way!

Depends on my mood, the company, and the quality of the spirits. Will drink any though.

Hid the deathcount to stop it from being demoralizing. Should still be available if you press tab, it's just not constantly visible. Also your scores were reset.

Sorry guys, i ll probably not play for a few months...my internet connection sucks really hard, and get lag in btw is kind of extra-plus hardcore. I give all my stuffs to someone that i dont remember the minecraft nick (sorry bro xD) and put the vessel of dragon and some pistons and dispenser at the valuable chest....hope that i can upgrade my internet speed, so i can play quietly.
P.S i can loggin sometimes just for chat, i kind of like chatting with u =p

It’s exciting to see all the projects we’ve managed to accomplish since the server started, but I gotta ask for some help with my latest project. Working on a nether rail to our villager pens,and I need a very very large amount of iron or rails. Donations would be greatly appreciated!
