Alarm Clocks

I noticed this (possibly accidental?) feature in my new world playthrough recently, and I must say I'm tickled pink.

I was transporting chickens in a swamp when gloomy night befell me. Being with iron armor but still scared shitless of slimes I chose to block the entrance to my hidey hole with a full slab rather than a half and tuckered in for the night, feeding my chicken as I thought it'd lay an egg come morning anyway. I proceeded to write some outstanding manuscripts while I was alt tabbed and lo and behold I heard a little cluck...and knew immediately it was morning (I didn't have a clock so I was aiming for an estimate).

It's nifty, and could have acted like an alarm clock for me earlier in the game when I had very little food to do during night times so I thought it noteworthy, intended or not.

Personally, my favourite alarm clock is the burning of rotten flesh, and clinking of falling bones.
