I know there are at least a couple Arcen Games fans lurking on this forum, so for anyone who currently isn't aware I thought I'd make mention:
Arcen Games just started a KickStarter for AI Wars 2. So far, from skimming the (incredibly detailed) design document and checking out the KickStarter video, I am really impressed. Looks like they are working hard to avoid some of the common KickStarter pitfalls - stretch goals will be post 1.0 instead of delaying release, for example. The switch from individual ships to Total War style squads threw me for a moment, but honestly when was the last time you used just one ship to do something anyway?
Anyways, just wanted to bring this to the attention of anyone who hadn't seen it yet.
