Cut Scoured Leather won't tan - is it common?

Just put Cut Scoured Leather in the Cauldron and it won't tan, put Scoured Leather and it went right through. Experiencing this problem only from last update. Is this my end or anyone can't tan Cut pieces of Scoured Leather? I want to report a bug problem, but if it's just me, then it's a waste.

If it doesn't work, you might be doing it incorrectly.

Keep in Mind

• Scoured Leather can be cut into pieces before being tanned. It takes both pieces for the tanning process to occur in this case, and the end product is cut tanned leather.

You must have both cut pieces in the cauldron for the tanning process to work though.
