Chat problems? is this happening to you?

So im playing with my family on this mod and when we are trying to chat the messages doesnt go through sometimes and we have to keep logging in and out and this has been happening for a while now and only way to resolve it is to again log out and log in
not sure if this is how i set up BTW but i did everything correctly so im unsure what todo.
