Not Hardcore Spawning
I have been playing for a while in this seed:-1344855206 and I am using Humped camel. I have died several times(with days in between) and I have yet to respawn more than a few blocks away from my original spawn.

Update: Finally got a significantly different spawn. haven't discovered how far away I am, but not within sight of my original spawn point. I guess 8 times a charm.

When you don't know if something represents a bug or not, tech support is the place to go.
