Help installing TMI (Too Many Items)

I have BTW installed and have been loving the mod, but would like to also add TMI. Can some explain or direct me to a link on how to do this (as if talking to a child)?

There are very few mods and addons that are compatible with BTW. This was an intentional decision by FC to keep the mod as pure as possible.
A similar mod that is compatible is Craftguide:

Make sure you download the version labelled 'CraftGuide no loader for Minecraft 1.5.2'
