Alright so we now have an IRC channel (#Edolas) and a bot that transmits the chat between said channel and the server! !players will tell you who is on the server when you are on the IRC. Have fun, and don't break it! :P

So my water wheel was broken when I got on today, and I was wondering if anyone knew what went on with it? If it was just a mistake no big deal, but I would like to know so I don't flip out thinking I need to start swinging my hammer. ;) thanks :)

No idea what happened with the above, but just wanted to mention that water wheels (and wind mills) *are* entities and thus are subject to environmental damage (lightning, attacks from mobs, etc.).

Just something to keep in mind before any potential witch hunt ;)

Yeah I was thinking that. Could have been lightning, but a few other things like randomly placed saplings told me a player was there. Guess they may have dodged an arrow and my waterwheel was the next thing in line. :P

Yepp, play nice or the hammers will drop :) Otherwise not much. Find a nice place to settle, or if you want help selecting a location (we usually just ask which biome you prefer to build in) give us a shout! Old community, so the map is pretty well known.

quick question: ion is there a mob trap anywhere near us? looking to head out into the nether a long ways out to an unspawned area to make a fresh start (with strata, the new stuff in temples and stuff) but i wanna make a beacon so i dont have to walk 5 days otu everytime i die xD I can go dig up the iron i need but do you know of a mob farm i can use?

MagikEh has one near my new base, and bob has one over at his place. MagikEh's is MUCH faster as I recall though. The other ones are a bit far out but there are plenty of others.

Yep that is the spot. The mob trap is down stairs in the mystical laby type place. Look around for magikeh in the Edolas irc. Or me I won't be around for a few hours this evening though.

Little heads up guys, Edolas is gonna have a few days downtime. My host is going out of business, this will mean I have to find a new host. Though I am thinking I will likely just host it locally with my TS. I will update the IP, and such shortly. This shouldn't be to much more than a day or two.
