Technical difficulties with the server provider, dealing with it asap. Waiting on them to respond to my support ticket at the moment. Will post here as soon as it is fixed.

Ok so the VPS in Dallas is down affecting every server that is being hosted on it. I am one of those servers. CreeperHost is what I use in case someone wanted to know this.

Server is back up, however the hosting provider is still wonky at the moment so no guarantees. I literally was told it was working the whole time till I sent pictures of my screen showing the many errors it was giving me. I then proceeded to tell they are wrong, which they argued the point by saying "It is working because we logged in and booted your server up for you". The problem was, I had no controls available to do so because.... wait for it... IT WASN'T WORKING. lol anyways 2 days of this bullshit and they finally decide to help. I do not recommend them as a VPS provider to anyone.

If anyone is interested in saying goodbye to hard core spawn id suggest heading over to my base for something that is "bound" to make your life easier.

Guys I have dubbed my base "Paradise" City, as it is starting to feel like a safe haven especially now that it is complete with a low tier soul forged beacon. So please stop by and visit sometime! That is if you aren't a thief, griefer, creeper attractant, troll, and or any other unpleasant unmentionable. :) Included is a screenie of the newest addition to Paradise City, the portal tower.

Deleted because he's about to finish his beacon. No reason to burn down a jungle when that's gonna be done.

VegasGoat: I have recovered the items from the heavily armored pigman. Quite a surprise when he starting actually doing damage to me. Swinging that diamond sword, wearing full armor.. Heh.

Anyways I put a chest at the 4 way intersection you mentioned. Right before the portal that killed you. Here are its contents:

From the wiki
"Players can right-click on beacon to set the area around it as a spawn point, regardless of the distance away you die."
http://www.sargunster.com/btw/index.php ... re_Beacons

Based on that i cant really figure out why one would use more than the minimum required blocks in a SFS beacon, strange.

Cool, not all of that stuff is mine so I'll only take what is. The rest belongs to whomever perished there before me by angering that pigman.

Distance isn't the only thing that can separate a player and his beacon.

The wiki is wrong, only tier 4 beacons will make you respawn no matter how far away you are or what dimension you're in, tier 1 beacons can only reach about 40 (or maybe less) blocks.
