block of flint can have any texture that you want. myself i use the debris textures for flint blocks.

this isn't vanilla BTW it's a texture pack that i use for myself. choosing between to not use the flint block or use it with a different texture i choose the second. nothing is released so stop blabbering

Yeah, please don't post texture packs that change flint to look differently from bedrock as that's basically a cheat.

working with the latest conquest release, i have stumbled upon lot's of textures that can't be used in btw outside creative.
so far there are also some inconsistencies in vanilla with how a double slab block that looks equally as the full block (aesthetics). so i can add to those double slab blocks a look to a different texture with ctm support. nothing that is outside the intended block. let's say a double slab block for dark stone to look different that the dark stone.
this pic is just an example:
what do you guys think about releasing for every double slab a texture different from let's say vanilla look rules

it's brown, white, light grey and grey wool. and those last two look great and also makes a reference to the btw way of making wool blocks with blocks of wicker.
edit: finished the ctm for black stone. pillars and pedestals and double slabs have their own texture:

Yeah, sic 8's upload is the lastest version for 1.5.2, but there's some new material that'd be nice to get into the game.
Ion, I'm sold. However maybe the debris for the cobble slabs (seeing as it's being broken up even more to make slabs?) 'cause it is gorgeous.
I'm currently working on redoing whitestone, it didn't quite look right. And I've redone the stone pillar, and looking at CTMing chisled blackstone. Little things. I could release now, and continue tinkering later.

yeah sic 8 is the base conquest then you need to add longlay textures for btw and after if you want my fixes for cauldron and the rest. i'm working on a cleaned conquest version with lot's of textures removed that can't be used without commands.

One thing I noticed is that I don't really like how dark the hemp is. I like the texture, just maybe lighten it up a bit?

Another observation: wicker blocks have a transparent texture, but are not transparent blocks, so they work as x-ray blocks since they don't render faces behind them like transparent blocks do.

my textures aren't to be used as they are. they were released so longlay can grab and move them to his release. about hemp just do it yourself!

I really like the biome specific textures - since BTW encourages exploration and spread out builds it's nice for the variation! And great job on everything else too!

Has anyone noticed that the stratification does not show properly with this texture pack? im using the latest version for the BTW conquest support and the proper 1.5.2 conquest TP (or RP) and the latest of BTW (4.9PHILLIP or whatever) and the latest MCP . When i select the texture pack, all of the stone is the same default color, even though it still requires me to use a different pickaxe for the levels. Other texture packs show the stratified levels as well.
