What's the deal with the mp servers for better than wolves? It's such a great mod, why are there troubles getting smp servers populated? That's how i've perceived it, at least.

It's just getting to be a very old mod with a few dedicated players. To get a thriving MP scene, you need at least a few thousand people playing the mod, I don't think that's the case anymore.

I personally feel that it's because BTW is the antithesis of instant gratification, and everything else that comes with the 'I want cool stuff right now!' mentality.

Makes sense either way. Even if a couple BTW servers are active, I immediately find that much better than the Minecraft server situation right now. I tried multiplayer for the first time in 5 years yesterday. Fuckin hell, for one thing there's literally no one older than 16 playing. Another is that it's all about stoopid minigames and wonky plugins. If I wanted to play counterstrike, I'd go play counterstrike. lol
