Consistent jack o'lanterns

Jack o'lanterns can only be placed if they have a supporting block under them, even though they don't actually need one (if removed, the jack o'lantern will stay in place). The suggestion is to either remove this limitation in regards to placing them or make them require a supporting block like pumpkins.

Added to this, they are turned into an item if attempted to be pushed by a piston and can't be pulled by a sticky piston. I'm not sure if any other full block in the game do that.

Wouldn't that make glowstone and thus the nether less valuable? I get where your coming from with the consistency, but from a gameplay point of view I don't think a change should be made.

Yup, idea received. Makes sense. Locking down to prevent further face-palm inducing responses.
