As per title, I present to any and all benevolent java coders a task that has arisen from FC's move from ModLoader dependency : would any of you be interested in making an equivalent to the "Craftguide" add-on ? (link)

I'm fond of its efficient interface; its main purpose is to allow the player a clear, minimum information wiki that's accessible from the game, completely offline. Also, the add-on has in-built support for BTW's machines such as kiln or stoked cauldrons.

As I'm at a complete loss with java, I cannot do this myself (yet). I thus humbly request what I suppose has to be a rework, even maybe a complete build from scratch, of this kind of functionnality. I have no idea whatsoever of the amount of work I am talking about here, so please do tell me if what I'm requesting is clearly a work of insane proportions.

I guess the thread doesn't need any answer anymore, though it will answer the inquiries of people like me searching on the BTW forums.

I also don't browse the MC forum, thanks for keeping us informed that they are planing on getting one that works with BTW.

The author plays BTW almost exclusively, shouldn't be a problem.

From what I read according to other people, there was an issue in BTW's new mod loader, so was waiting a few days (turned out to be a bit longer than that) for an update. The fix has been postponed, though, so I still don't have a compatible CraftGuide version yet. There's a possible workaround, but it involves CraftGuide becoming a jar mod when used with BTW, and I would rather optimistically wait another week than temporarily make significant changes to my build script, especially with...

Minecraft 1.6 may be only a few days away. I will probably start updating for it soon, though I may release one last bugfix update for Minecraft 1.5.x.

- Due to recent BTW news, I have decided not to make a BTW-specific version of CraftGuide (since it is now unlikely that it will have a reliable loader built-in).
