Essentially same as title. Updated to 1.5.1/4.66, built an Obsidian frame for a nether portal same as always, used Flint and Steel on it, which lit it on fire for a split second, and then went out, without creating the portal.

Already fixed for next release. Will likely try to put it out tomorrow.
