help with elavators?

ive been usin the btw mod for a while and have built a hole town but i cant get my elvators to work right can any one post a vid of how to make tham cause i am completly lost in tryto do one on my own

Well I'm pretty sure there is an abundance of videos out there if you look, but my advice is to start small. Just set up a water wheel with axles and gearboxes to a pulley. Get it to lift one platform block even. Play around with redstone getting one lever set up to the gearbox to make it go up and down, and another to the pulley to act as a brake. Once you've done that just scale it up and modify to fit your house. I'm sure others can give you simpler and more elegant ways of doing it though.

ya have one that kinda works i just cant ave more than t flooars and it takes up way to much space
