I've installed modloader and better than wolves. with no other mods installed. on minecraft 1.4.5
when placing a bucket of water the water spawn block instantly disappears.
surely this cant be right. as this completely removes the ability to create any water feature. (also I cant find any reference to this in the wiki)
Dissapearing water (buckets)
Re: Dissapearing water (buckets)
Search for "Hardcore Buckets", beeing not able to place a watersource block is a feature of BTW.
From the Minecraftforum OP:
From the Minecraftforum OP:
Hardcore Buckets: This feature basically prevents the player from being able to transport water & lava source blocks in buckets. This makes fluid flow (and by extension, the generation of mechanical power with Water Wheels, and the transportation of items via water flow) far more interesting to work with without causing additional performance overhead, by requiring the player to actually build canals and such to have access to liquids. Later in the tech-tree water may also be transported vertically through the use of Screw Pumps.
Re: Dissapearing water (buckets)
I see... hmm... ahh there is a way to turn it off.
only it is very hard (to impossible) to make a farm without the ability to transport water source blocks.
sounds like BTW wants something along the lines of this mod as part of it.

1) there's supposed to be no discussion in Bug Reports.
2) a basic search, on google no less, would have revealed your answer.

On the internet you can be whatever you want. It's surprising so many people choose to be stupid.
