Hi, I'm currently looking for an active BTW server. I have a good amount of experience with the mod but the majority of my experience has been spent in SSP and I would love to move on to play SMP cooperative.

Minecraft has, since I discovered it long ago, been one of the most influential games in terms of how I see fun. Having a literally infinite world (restrained only by the hardware) that I can modify down to the finest detail, where no possibility is withheld from me as long as I spend the required time and effort is amazing. It has been, for me, an escape from the harsh realities and restrictions life places on us and a great outlet for creativity.

Still, I reached a point where I could no longer enjoy building the same pointless buildings with no function, and I didn't believe in playing the came in creative to construct a lifesized representation of the Taj Mahal :P So when I found Better Than Wolves and the simple changes that made minecraft more of a game I was hooked. I now cannot play minecraft vanilla and must play with better than wolves installed. I almost don't know what I'd even do to play vanilla.

I'm simply looking to have fun with others while enjoying this mod. I am 24 years old and have a Bachelors in Music. I really don't know what else would be relevant but that's me! Hope to join you guys soon. :)

Hi there. After having spent a while on ssp after the last server I played on shut down, I've found that it just doesn't compare to multiplayer. Somehow, the motivation to build is just lacking, so I decided to have a look around for some new servers. And so here I am :)

I first discovered BTW about 2 years ago, give or take about a year or so (terrible sense of larger scale time). I played with it for a while after eventually being forced to quit due to my old laptop just not being able to handle the strain of mc, especially back in beta, without optifine.

Several months ago, while messing around in youtube, I rediscovered it through a few spotlights and LPs and decided I'd give it another go. And it was amazing. The huge overhaul it gave to Minecraft made it feel like a whole new game, with the added difficulty and heightened sense of danger that came with it only adding to the experience. Now playing vanilla mc just seems too... bland.

Anyways, I'd consider myself a friendly player and I'm always willing to help someone out. I love messing around with redstone and automating absolutely everything, though my aesthetic skill is slightly limited. I've read both sets of rules and agreed to them. And then read them again. I'm 16 and my IGN is d4l33t. Hope to see you there!

Updated to BTW 4.87 and tested logging in and out with 30 or so chickens, pigs and cows (not at the same time) in 1x2x1 and 2x2x2 pits. None suffocated. So far so good! Will test more later tonight when I have more time.
