Where do dual-mod addons stand?

Post by RaustBlackDragon »

I've hesitated in starting a thread about my BTW add-on because I'm not sure if it qualifies as acceptable to post, since it isn't a pure BTW add-on, it's also an add-on to one of my mods.

If it's acceptable to post them here, I will do so. Otherwise, I won't post them here. I'll err on the side of caution and assume that it's not allowed unless I get confirmation otherwise.

Are you talking about your RBD Tools? I was sold on how useful they would be, but after using them for a while, and now on 1.3.1 not having them.
Well, I miss how awesome they are...

I say post about them. Anything that has some component of BTW functionality is fair game.
How else are we going learn about good mods?

Another option would be to add to the Good Mixers page on the wiki.

It's not RBD Tools. He said it's an add-on to BTW and one of his mods.

So yes, I'm referring to the SFS add-on for that.

Isn't LTW's Craftguide Plugins in that same boat?

So why worry?

I mean, there aren't a lot of Mods that play nicely with BTW.
Or build on top of it, adding to the awesomeness. ( Damn down fanboy, who let you out.. )

This week while I am waiting for the 1.3.1 update. Think I will drop back to 2.5... and add these mods to the wiki.

He was right to ask about it. Stop trying to answer for me...twice.

You also pulled a 2 week necro on this thread to do so.

That wasn't my intention, I've posted Bug reports, and a Feature request for Raust on MCF, I am a fan of his mods.
I think that his mods would benefit from more exposure.

These are your forums, I will respect your request to not necro. Sorry about that.

Raust promoting his mods through these forums is the reason there's a "no discussing your mods unless they're BTW add-ons" rule in place here.

As such, there's history there that you may not be aware of, and I appreciate him asking about this instead of just going ahead with it as a result.

I don't really have an answer for him mind you, as I wasn't fully comfortable with the question or with the potential for this getting out of control again.
