Re: New Release! (BTW V3.60)
Amazing! I can't wait to play with it! Since my main is btb, I may have to dig up an old save to test this out! I imagine the soul urn bottler that siwtches inputs and thus downstream processing is now irrelevant because I bet bellows can blow sawdust out of hellfire dust...
This does look like lots of fun! Thank you very much!

FC, you never cease to amaze.
-I stopped playing Minecraft a long time ago; BTW is its own game to me
-even after these forums are gone, as long as I have the files, I will continue to play Better than Wolves

Amazing update! :)
Seems like I can't hold off on updating to wait for BTB this time.
Meh, I'll find a solution for the missing oil when it's time. Now it's time to mess with the new features!

Re: New Release! (BTW V3.60)
Actually, I think there's potential function to this. If the output stacks far more plentifully than the inputs, you could put the inputs in the bottom row, the outputs would be created into the first available row from the top down, you could tip it, put in new stuff, but there would be the option to keep some stuff inside.FlowerChild wrote:I'll take care of that one tomorrow. I have a bunch more stuff that I wanted to get into this release actually, but at a certain point I decided that there was enough there that I wanted to turn it over to you guys to play with.darahalian wrote:Yeah. Anything in the bottom row doesn't pour out.
I'll see if I can get a few more items on my todo list done along with it ;)
Just my humble opinion, but I see good potential use from this, and it's not too likely to jam a system, so personally I'd make that bug a feature :)

You had to go and make a new release while my computer is down, didn't you? I'm definately being punished by some supernatural force.

Re: New Release! (BTW V3.60)
Brilliant release, thanks FC :).
Love the way the items actually look like they are spilling out of the tipped Stewing Pots/Cauldrons! The whole release is great, but particularly well done for that one! :)

Inspired as always Flowerchild. Great stuff in this update, but it was the tipping of the cauldron and crucible that made me do a little happy dance in my cubicle here this morning! Great way to start the day!

Re: New Release! (BTW V3.60)
I have to agree. If anything, the fact that some materials will get stuck to the bottom means that we have a design constraint to work with, which gives a little more detail to our automations.RaustBlackDragon wrote: Just my humble opinion, but I see good potential use from this, and it's not too likely to jam a system, so personally I'd make that bug a feature :)

Thanks FC!
Decided to take a peek on the forums this morning while drinking a coffee and yeah now I'm cleaning sticky coffee off my monitors...
Note to self. Put coffee down before loging on to the forums.

Even more possibilities for automation, very nice. Although my first thought was something like this. :PFlowerChild wrote: -Added the ability to "tip" Stewing Pots and Crucibles by applying mechanical power to them.
Thank you for this update.

Does this mean if we donate more we'll get more cool updates?

Don't push it now ;pSarudak wrote:Does this mean if we donate more we'll get more cool updates?
We always did get cool updates. Donating is just an expression of gratitude, not an entitlement :]

I was just making a little joke. But looking back on what I said it's obvious how most people would not see it that way.MoRmEnGiL wrote:Don't push it now ;pSarudak wrote:Does this mean if we donate more we'll get more cool updates?

Been really busy as of late, and thought I would pop on and check whats up. Turns out you gave us a great release.
Tipping Cauldrons. Blowing Bellows. I am gonna have some fun this weekend.
Thanks as always FC :) It is always amazing to see the amount of work you put into this stuff. :)

Re: New Release! (BTW V3.60)
<3 This suggestion got rejected so many times, I never expected it to arrive!-Added the ability to "tip" Stewing Pots and Crucibles by applying mechanical power to them.
Already gave our response to this: awesome-Added ability for the Bellows to blow light items that are in front of it.
This one's fun and makes sense. Can't think of very many uses, perhaps more will be added but lols are a use for anything.-Added ability to have villagers follow you if you're holding a diamond.
Amazing! There are so many uses for this. Out of curiosity, will Nether Clay be able to make pottery?-Added recipe to convert 4 Nether Sludge into a clay block. Note that this applies to "clumping" with the Block
Dispenser as well. I'll be adding a separate Nether Sludge block once the extended block IDs become available, but in
the meantime this will allow players to make Pottery out of Nether Sludge without consuming an additional block ID.
Thanks a bunch for this one. Makes sense (as stated) and the optifine compatibility is great.-Changed Rope so that it can only be climbed by the player (not monsters or animals, except for spiders obviously). This is both because it makes sense and gives a unique purpose to using Ropes in base construction, but also because it
removes the need for the mod to modify EntityLiving.class, which increases compatibility with Optifine.
All in all, another amazing release. Thank you for all your hard work Flowerchild!

Figured out something unexpected with the bellows.
Spoiler
Show
The bellows will push things off of an axle, half block, etc
