Rotating torches destroy windmills

I haven't tested this with anything else yet, but if you have a turntable turn a block of dirt directly adjacent to a windmill with a redstone torch on it, then when the torch is rotated into the area that the windmill occupies, the windmill is destroyed instead of the redstone torch. I'm assuming that it should be the other way around.

Edit: Same thing happens with waterwheels.
