Neptune was discovered one year ago! (That's in Neptune years, or 164 Earth years.)

Nifty, I spent like 4 hours yesterday derping with a universe simulater and blew-up Neptune And every other thing we know and love thing is pretty fun.

That is actually pretty interesting! If you are interested mildly in astronomy, you might throw up a party! Let's celebrate when the anniversary of Pluto comes around too! According to the wiki, that is in 2178.
