problems creating a server

i've created a BTW CE 2.1.4 server, it's working, my friend from another city was able to connect, BUT, for some reason we both had the same nickname: Player, and because of that, when the second of us is trying to connect, server kicks the first one. Please help, i'm using TLauncher.

TLauncher is a Minecraft piracy client, which is not looked upon very favorably around here.
That said, if tlauncher lets you set up your own username, you need to figure out how to do that. It seems like it is defaulting to "player," so when another person connects, the server thinks that two people named "player" are joining. See if there is an option to change the offline username assigned by the launcher.
