I made a comprehensive video guide to help new players install and play the latest Community Edition of Better Than Wolves. This guide assumes that you have no experience at all, so it includes information about installing the correct java version and using 7-Zip to open zip files. There are timestamps so you can skip to the parts of the guide that are important to you.
