Issue with multimc login

Currently from what i can tell the api for multmcs login servers are down. Ive done some troubleshooting by downgrading its version and fiddling around. I was just wondering if anyone has come across issues with the login servers or have found a work around. I use the old way of logging in which is username and password not email.

Are you by any chance on MultiMC 0.6.13? That is the most recent version which added microsoft account support so I would not be surprised if they deprecated the (extremely) old minecraft account login. I just confirmed that I was able to log in to Minecraft through MultiMC just fine using a Mojang account.

So i guess its time i finally upgrade. That sucks i liked having the old way. Thanks for your input
