I found myself impulsively clicking refresh every 2-3 hours . Something just wasn't right without getting my fix from these forums. O_o

Nice job getting this up again so quickly, sarg! MCF was driving me insane. It makes us all realize how much of a help you are for setting this up. So once again, massive thanks for all you've done for us over the past year!

The worst thing for me was the lack of communication. Had the world ended somewhere in America and it was just taking a while to get here? IRC sorta saved me in this way, but it was a close thing to a complete loss of sanity.

Absence DOES make the heart grow fonder! I mean, I knew how much I liked the forums, or at least I thought I did. Still, not having them for a while made me realize how much I liked them and depended on them. Thanks for your hard work to provide and maintain this haven for us sarg.

It's sort of like a train wreck. It's horrible to look at but you can't look away.

The wiki was causing performance issues and Bluehost temporarily took down the site until I got it fixed. I've updated MediaWiki and disabled an extension that may have been causing the problem, so we'll see if it's fixed over the next day or two. I also plan on updating the forum, so it'll be disabled again for a few minutes sometime tomorrow.

Now I'm even more curious about what might have been causing the problem so I can personally keep an eye out for it in the future. Care to regale us with stories of your conquest over the dread Wikimonster?

Completely didn't realize how often I check this forum until it was gone, must have caught myself trying to get on 20 different times. MCF was not much of a substitute, either (although seeing some familiar faces over there made things a little better). Happy to say that my withdrawal can be over, glad to have that sweet BTW forum juice in my veins again!

Also, thanks to Sargunster! Would buy you a drink if I could.
