I just found my dad's porn stash

I was looking for a good place to set up my little woodshop, and I checked in the shed, and I found a few stacks of Playboy Magazines. What, if anything, should I do with them? And have any of you found the porn stash of a parent before?

It was such a 'rite of passage' back in the day finding the old man's stash and sharing it with your mates.
I could not even imagine what it would be like going through adolescence with the internet at my disposal.

My advice: respect your dad's privacy, put them back, and never speak of it. Every human needs personal space and things which are strictly their own. Parents are no exception.

Well, I'm guessing that they were early to mid twenties at the time, and they're less than 20 years old. You're about 10 or so years off, Havok. Mom and Dad are pretty old.

At least it isn't as weird as finding a penthouse from the year you were born in your grandparents house while breaking down the bed your uncle used when he stayed there after college.

I found my dads stash when I was twelve or thirteen and looked through them a bit before putting them back. He figured out I had found them, gave me the talk and then started passing down old issues to me. The guy was a master of the 'this shit is normal but be responsible about it' approach.

Moral of the story is that if he's hiding something, he's likely to notice if something is off about it. Put them back the way you found them and then make up your mind about whether to just keep quiet about it or let him know that you saw where he was keeping them so you can talk it out. You know your father better than I ever could so I'm not going to advise either way.

Heh, later I found out that my old man hid his stash in a location that I would find it so that I would find it, however it went unspoken until a lot later in my life (when my little brother came 'of age') and then he nudged me and told me to share the location with him.

That sounds like what my friend did when I turned 18...Except he brought some cigars too. Nice way to wake up, to say the least!

Heh, my dad got drunk one time when I was at his house (my parents have been divorced since I was 2) and told me and my friend who was over at the time where his stash was. I never really found anything I shouldn't have, though

once when i was maybe 10 i was sleeping over at my friends house, and his slightly older brother had a friend over. they knew about the stash, which was an entire suitcase in a closet with a padlock on it, but they couldn't open it. i had small enough hands to reach in through the tiny hole you could make in the zip, so they convinced me to get them a bunch of the magazines... after i mentioned that i felt a video tape, i think they got creative and cut a hole in the suitcase. i can't remember exactly how it went down, but i remember that some time later we all got busted watching that video in silence in the lounge room. the best part was not getting into trouble because they were too embarrassed XD

while I have never found a hidden porn my dad was an abstract artist and most of the walls in the studio were covered with naked women in rather interesting positions

I found my old mans stash when I was 14- really wish I hadnt they were all gay porn mags.... never said anything cuz I found it while i was looking for a place to hide my weed- kinda hard to explain to either of my parents. My wife and I gave our son a scrip to penthouse after we found naked chicks saved to his PS3 hard drive.
