No it doesn't. As of right now, Buildcraft has yet to be updated to MC 1.2.5, so BTB must stay there as well. If you want to downgrade your Minecraft.jar you can search for a program called MCnostalgia.

Nope. 1.2.3 is the latest version it will work with. You will also be needing the 1.2.3 version of btw which can be found by searching forums or it's likely somewhere in this topic.
If you need to, you can use mcnostalgia (search mcf) or similar programs to rollback your client to a previous release. This would get you back to 1.2.3 to play this mod.

Yeah. Depending of the texture pack you will either just have to add the zip into your texture pack folder, or\

if the parts are separate, you have to add the vanilla TP zip into the texture pack folder, then open up the zip for the BTW textures and copy over any files into the vanilla TP zip.

BTB no longer uses mod loader so skip that part.

I did this the old way by dragin'-dropin' files in the .jar and it worked fine.
Then i wanted to do it with MC-Patcher because i wanted HD texture to display my own texture mix and the other HD stuff.
But there i get Black screen. So i added the BC .zips to the MCPatcher list in the order you indicated and i had black screen again.

So, any advices wether to install well with MCPatcher or to display HD textures without this kind of softwares (a HD mod .zip?)?

When you add BTW and BTB with the patcher you need to select the MINECRAFT-JAR glider, not the whole zip.

As an aside, Havok, this is might be why you crashed.

I know that. I crafted zips with this file only for btw and BTB.

Edit: i tried installing all my ususal mods with MC patcher and then i added BTW 1.62 manually, and i had black screen. I think it's BTW 1.62 that has an issue with the MC patcher because my actual backed up install uses BTW 1.61.

Edit 2: Ok finally it works. So i'm posting my all mod recipe in case if it could help somebody:

1)Use MC patcher to install the HD mods and all your usual set of mods whitch you know to be compatible with BTW and BTB. (Here is mine for now: ModLoader, ModLoaderMP, In-Game texture Pack swicher, Rei's Minimap, Airship, Armorstand, Biosphere, ClaySoldiers, CraftGuide, CrystalWing, CustomModSpawner+GuiApi+Mo'creatures, Parachute, ToomanyItems). Patch it.

2)Drag and drop .minecraft files for MAtmos (if you use it).

3)This step really counts, the two upthere concerns my personnal stuff.Download BTW 1.62 (not older) and BTB 3.26. Open them and craft two new .zip files with your archive manager, each one containing the MINECRAFT-JAR files for BTW and BTB. Add these two new zips to the MCPatcher list.

4)(Linux) Copy the 6 BC files to /.minecraft/mods whitch is hiden in /home (Do Ctrl+H in the folder or ls -a in the terminal). Create the "mods" folder if it does't exist yet. Personally MAtmos already created it.
(Windows) Copy the 6 BC files to %appdata%\\roaming\\.minecraft. Same as linux now.

5)Now patch in MCPatcher with this new modlist.

I've tried to install it many diffrent ways. I've done it with MagicLauncher, with MultiMC and the Standard way by adding the files into the .jar but something seems to be broken for me. Can somebody help me?

This mod is incompatible with Forge. Equivalent Exchange requires Forge. This mod can not be used with Equivalent Exchange.

You second error can be caused by putting BTW in both the jar and the mods folder. Only install it in the jar, not the mods folder. I've heard Magic Launcher can also cause that error.

My installation just screwed itself over... I have no idea what is causing it or how to fix it. Basically it tells me that buildcraft is trying to use the same blockID for two sepperate blocks...

Wut? :s

It worked fine until i tried putting the buildcraft addon "advanced power systems" in the mods folder, it didnt work but when i then removed it this error popped up, and i cant get rid of it... Ive tried making a clean minecraft.jar, but i think it is some config file that's been messed with. Where do i look for blockID occupation??
