my 'char.png' skin isn't being loaded

Hey guys, real quick - how can I force the game to use the Char skin that is found in a texture pack? It's just using some old weird default one pulled from Mojang I'm guessing.

It'll only use the char.png file when offline. If you're using multiMC you can just launch the game in offline mode, I don't think there is a way to force offline mode from the vanilla launcher without actually disconnecting your computer from the internet.

The easiest way though is just to upload that texture as your skin through Mojang.

I did all that, but perhaps it just took a while to update? Today I logged on and my character had changed to the appropriate one! Easy ^^
