Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix v1.62 - BTW 4.ABCEE
Did you just manually edit the textures or did you try my approach mentioned in the other thread?
Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix v1.62 - BTW 4.ABCEE
at first i tried to use the method we talked about. Ive never been closer to a seizure in my entire life (flashing colors). I now am just making 4 diff TPs and switching it every thirty days in game.
soo ehhh....
Do you want me to upload my edits when done?

Ahhhh ok. No thanks, I may do something along these lines in the future now that it's on my mind
Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix v1.62 - BTW 4.ABCEE
Hey buddy i know you're probably pretty busy but, I've kept your pack up to date for my personal use and can send you my textures i made if it makes life easier. I won't post any textures without your consent though.

Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix v1.62 - BTW 4.ABCEE
Ah no thanks man I'm good. I actually enjoy updating the pack, it's a hobby of mine. It just takes a bit longer to get to these days because I'm working full time now
Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix v1.62 - BTW 4.ABCEE
This is hands down the best texture pack I have ever used for Minecraft. The idea to make the size of a stack visible in the item sprite is brilliant! Equally brilliant is your enchanted armour design.
Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix v1.62 - BTW 4.ABCEE
Glad you like it erik. The changes to the icons became possible when mcpatcher 5 was released. I put a lot of work into that, because it was a great little feature! Similarly with how iron armour deteriorates through durability, that's one of my favourites :)

Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
soooooo just checking are you still playing? i only ask because if not i keep you pack up to date and would be happy to continue it for you if not.

Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
No thanks panda. I still play and will update when I get around to it
Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
Panda, why don't you continue your TP? you had one here and for some reason you stopped updating it, but you just want to take over Mesh one. I'm pretty sure, that if you ask Mesh he let you use some of his textures until to bring your up to the latest updates or you can ask me for some.
Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
Ohhh haha i actually don't really find my own pack appealing after not playing it for 3 years. I use a custom pack that's 1/3 conquest, 1/3 mesh and 1/3 John Smith.
Yeah i know it sounds silly but i just came to think your guys packs are soo much better i now work on them in my free time to enrich my game.
I mean if you all don't mind me using using (and crediting) your textures i can upload my mix I've been personally using but that's up to you.

Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
I can't speak for ion but I'd personally rather you didn't upload my textures. This pack is mah baby and I've put thousands of hours into it. I'm still actively working on this pack so Id rather my textures remain with this one. I'd perhaps be fine with it if I had abandoned this one but I don't plan on doing that any time soon, I just take breaks from BTW now and then and right now I'm on one of those breaks! I treat this as a hobby of mine and it's a labour of love for me

Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
I love this texture pack. I use it exclusively now. Just kind of curious how i could get it usable for the newer versions? mainly the wheat changes
Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
I've been following the changes but I've been busy with education recently and I'm in the middle of a BTW break so I haven't had the time to update it. I'll get to it shortly hopefully within the next week or two I should at least be able to get something workable with the more common items
Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
Many thanks! Your artistic work and selections enhance the BTW experiance and are greatly appreciated!

Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
I'll second this! (my daughter says to tell you she loves it too) Take your time man, one of the things that make this pack what it is is the time and effort you put in to it.Taleric wrote:Many thanks! Your artistic work and selections enhance the BTW experiance and are greatly appreciated!
Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
Ha, tell your daughter thanks! I've been working on the TP today and I've got what I think are the main things done. I haven't played the mod since about 4 versions ago so I'm trying to work out the most commonly used items so I can get some usability back for you guys. I'll try to get a version released in the next few days.
Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
Please note, I haven't yet finished everything from the last few updates, details of which are at the bottom of this post. I feel that I've managed to add in the most recently used blocks/items though.
Also, I've updated this pack purely based on experimenting in Creative and I had a little trouble working with the wheat as I'm unfamiliar with how that system now works. Subsequently if there are any problems with the textures for this then please let me know!
Enjoy :)

Re: [32x] Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix
Hey guys, just an FYI. I'm aware of the problem with weeds showing up as strange texures. I'm afraid there's nothing I can do about that as it seems to be an internal problem.
This problem only seems to occur when you switch texture pack when inside the game, so if you load the game with my pack already selected then you shouldn't encounter this problem. I know it can take up to 10 minutes on some machines to load the game with my pack selected so it's up to you if it's something you feel you can live with. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
