clay and iron [SPOILERS]

At my current HC-spawn drying the clay for the oven turns out to be rather annoying

1. day: lay out clay
2. day: rain
3. day: all well and good - clay haöf done
4. day: skelli spawning on top of the clay, running around, popping everything of
5. day: again layed out the clay - spider climbs on top of the platform where I layed out the clay to dry - popping it of again
6. day: rain....

also I seem to be rather terrible at finding surface iron or shallow caves...

All in all still more fun then I ever had with HC-spawn (pic related)

I'm uncertain of the point being made? Are you saying you dislike the drying mechanics, or is this a more of a narrative of your experiences?
