Hello. I'm interested in joining this server if there's still room. I've been a lurker on this forum for a long period (approximately from the time when the schism between forge and better than wolves was created) but not much of a poster (cause if you don't have something clever to say on a forum, better shut your yap).

Your experience with BTW?
I've been playing a good bunch with better than wolves with it up to the end of iron stage a while ago and kept going by adding better then Buildcraft (so that approximately situates the period i guess). I got back to it (and minecraft) seeing no other combination of forge mods could make it up to it.
Why do you want to join this specific server?
I started a new fresh world and even if i'm enjoying my experience, i figured it would be a lot nicer with some teamates. Plus, i'm french and joining something in my timezone would be a nice bonus.
How do you like building your bases? (underground, city, houses etc).
My favorite way to build is turning natural structures into my base. For instance digging and building around a mountain to make it a castle and surround it with other structures or turning a nearby village into my fief.
How often will you be able to play on the server?
It goes with my gaming habbits which causes my attention to burst on a particular game and then phase out fo a bit. Expect ups and downs from me. I hope this is not too bad for you. About my schedule, i'm a sudent so...i have free time.

Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the connection.
Error message:
Failed to connect to the server
Unknown host '23.235.233.80'

Here are the logs i entered:
Name: Ignis
IP: 23.235.233.80:28300

The server list widget says "Can't resolve Hostname" with '23.235.233.80:28300' as the IP

To put some more questions on the same post:
Have you got some sort of regular voice chatroom? TS3, Mumble, skype...?

We do not have a voice chat :( *yet* We will most likely use Skype for speaking with eachother at the dragon event.
I dont understand why it wouldnt let you join, everything seems okay, and the login servers or anything, are not down. Try again?

Well, after a few tries with no changes at all it worked. Minecraft shenanigans, go figure.
Is there some sort of hardcore chat thing going on? I seem to be speaking to noone and since there's noone around...
Also the spawn village seems to be griefed as hell.

By the way, i don't wanna flood this topicwith my questions so i'll pm you from now on if it's ok with you.

Ill look at spawn later, but it shouldn't be griefed. It may look griefed because it's still being worked on.

Alright. Just an honest mistake. Anyway i talked to some people on the server already and started doing some work in the village. I plan on building my own house soon enough. If you've got anything else to tell me wait for me on the server or just pm me if that can't wait.

Down for me at the moment too. I haven't been on much the past couple weeks due to work, so I dunno how it's been before that. Anyway, I've got a few stacks of pearls from my mob trap so if I do manage to log on, I'll leave them in the chest by my portal for people to use :)

Hey, I was wondering how many slots were left? I am not able to join right now, my computer is crap. I can't seem to run without lag, even with settings really low. I was just curious, because I plan on getting a new computer soon and was curious if I'd be able to join later on. Thanks.

Well, you can start by making an application to the server :)
If the server is down, it's probably down for maintenance. If the server IS down, PM me and I will look into it.

I have been playing off and on since about February 2013.
Why do you want to join this specific server?
I am not a big pvp fan, and I would like to work with other players. I don't have any friends who like this, so I mostly play alone. I think it would be a great experience to play on a btw server.
How do you like building your bases? (underground, city, houses etc).
I start underground, then when I have gathered plenty of resources, start building above. I like to have symmetrical farms, so I build underground near bodies of water, then start moving inland above ground houses. I like a more rustic medieval look but not straight up medieval. I really don't like modern buildings.
How often will you be able to play on the server?
Potentially every day if my computer works and if i'm not busy.

Oh shit... the server is down.
It seems like all Minecraft servers are unstable as far as Im aware. So it's neither my or MCProhostings fault.

I really hope you weren't stopped by the stronghold location, man that is disappointing! (Just in case, there is a portal to it in the nether, quite close to the spawn portal. The hallway is blocked by one block, but you can still see down it.) Good luck if it's still to come!

We did beat it. We used our endereyes to locate the portal. The portal we found wasn't connected to a nether portal.

A lot of these downtimes seem to be on Minecrafts servers. Go to this link http://xpaw.ru/mcstatus/ to check wether it's on MCProhostings side, or something else.
