Shmexy build. I'd like to see that in vanilla textures.

Awesome! Feels like it belongs in a mansion, the paintings and floor are perfect. Mine always end up looking like a book store, maybe I should avoid isle shelved aswell.

White candles on an Infernal Enchanter? Ick.

You made me do a double take for a moment thinking I had dropped the ball on that one, before realizing you were using a texture pack.

Always impressive, ion. Very nice 3D art with the dragon head.

So these are my plans for my desert base in my SSP world (these are built in creative on a test world)
It has two houses for storage and whatever else i might need them for, an area for crops and an area for animals. And a pump station, which I can't currently build, so i just need to move the crops down to the river.
Hope you like it and can give some improvement tips?

Edit: added grass with fence post on it to the animal pen, they need some grass to grow :) if i keep chicken there, then the grass is not needed

I have to say, I REALLY like the look of bookshelves descending into darkness. When I get to the point of having an infernal library in my world, I'll have to keep that aesthetic in mind ;)

I have used the total darkness for tunnels in my world, to make them seem more endless and deep.

I finally finished up my work area with all the basics, rather pleased with how it turned out.

That's an unstoked cauldron on the left, manual turntable just in from that, autokiln at the top with attached stoked crucible and cauldron, millstone with water collection (my first use of screw pumps) top right, manual saw right and crafting station with storage chests at the bottom. Quick flow between all the work stations and everything on hand when crafting stuff.

Not bad six, why not flip that saw over and stuff a Hopper under it?

Huh. So if I see correctly there's the... in junction with the... pistons... two levers that each do a thing... and a second crucible back there? Obviously some sort of auto-dispensing and self -emptying kiln. I've never seen anything like it but I think I can figure it out. Good workspace! Just missing a powered hopper somewhere.

I looks like the items fall into the second crucible from the kiln. Nice job, btw, six!

Yup, and the lever next to it is to turn on or off the hibachi under it. Useful for processing endstone to whitestone, but needs to be turned off if doing any baked goods (except for when cooking the hardest material known to mankind, pumpkin pie).

I also on SterlingRed's note, turned the saw into an auto saw, then used the same logic to make an urn placer indoors. Actually put the roof on that last night, will post some pics of it and the saw later on.

Taterboy, that is THE most inspirational set of farms I have ever seen in my entire life. I find myself wanting to design all of my mobfarms in this fashion from now on.

EDIT: Is the chicken farm an automated feeder and egg collector, or just a dispenser filled with eggs?

At that scale there was no room for a chicken feeding setup, so it's just a dispenser. A little bigger and it would be easier to fit coops and additional hoppers/dispensers inside. That's what prototypes are for though, maybe I should make a Unichicken for an upgraded setup.
