No Eccleston, though. I suppose nothing's perfect.

Yeah, in a way, Eccleston is my doctor. Tennant was better, Smith is wonderful, but Eccleston was my first doctor and he managed to put a little rock 'n roll in the doctor, which was brilliant.Katalliaan wrote:No Eccleston, though. I suppose nothing's perfect.

Never watched this series. So I haven't seen the light of the religion known as Doctor Who. But from my understanding, becoming the doctor is a death sentence. Why does everyone wish that on their favorite character?

I'm not sure you understand correctly. Characters don't "become" the Doctor.Rob wrote:Never watched this series. So I haven't seen the light of the religion known as Doctor Who. The Doctor is a single alien life form which regenerates his body into a new form each time he dies. It isn't a title that gets passed around a series, it's a single timeline with different faces.
Re: Doctor Who 50th Trailer
I was under the impression the alien life form inhabited a character's body. Thus a character 'becoming' the doctor. But I guess I was wrong. Ignore me.eternal8phoenix wrote:I'm not sure you understand correctly. Characters don't "become" the Doctor.Rob wrote:Never watched this series. That would've essentially made the doctor a Trill, which honestly probably makes more sense than the regeneration stuff.

Definitely looking forward to this, but it feels like The Doctor has quite a lot of darkest days...
Re: Doctor Who 50th Trailer
Figures. The day this is on, if things come together correctly, I'll be moving....
