When we break a leave sometimes it will drop some Shafts, this will reduce sappling drop.
The only way to get axe at the begin game.

First: Please don't steal ideas directly from other mods, it isn't a good habit.
Second: given the way things work in BTW the suggestion makes no sense whatsoever to somebody unfamiliar with TerraFirmaCraft, and seeing as I don't foresee knapping as going into BTW anytime soon it still makes little to no sense.
Third: FC renamed sticks as shafts for a reason you know.
Fourth: don't suggest ideas when you haven't even thought them through.

Sticks from leaves (branches) is an obvoius idea that allows the user to bipass hardcore wood. Please, don't come back until you understand the mod, mod developer and the community much better.
