Anybody consider trying to use the stuff in potion brewing? That is the primary use of all the VMC golden foods like carrots and melons. (minus the apple which is no longer obtainable in BTW outside of dungeons)

What would you find if you returned to your death point if you were killed by pigmen?

(As eating equals pooping, and I'm going to assume that pigzombies are as hungry as the overworld ones. Only difference being that the pigmen are neutral unless provoked and would then leave behind a golden deposit as if to say 'Ha Ha, noob!'

If all else fails- try putting one in a jukebox? It'll probably play the soundtrack from breaking dawn.

It's a reward for someone who needs a starter chest staying alive for the 100 hours it'll take them to get a crucible.

It's main purpose is to flip off starting chests being helpful. By delaying the bonus given by the chest until *after* early game. By saving you 8 pick endurance and 1 coal (xWood) for 8 gold.

Including axing the wood or mining the tree to get the coal/wood, that is roughly equal to 1 stone pick and 3 wooden picks. Something you'd find in a starting chest.

Wait. Just now I realized that the opposite of starter chest is ender chest.

It's not even that much. It just returns nuggets, not ingots, which is still what you get from gold ore.

Interesting! I figure that here would be a good time to throw in the fact that the Egyptians believed that gold, silver and lapis lazuli were solidified light from the celestial bodies of the gods, and were hence the earthly forms of the gods' skin, bones and hair respectively.
