An old fashion way of lifting water (NO PIPEs included)

Post by Josewilliams1990 »

Hello.
I love to play better than wolves but i always wondered is there a way of preserving its lovely water flow method of moving item while allowing water to raised higher that one block.

So my suggestion would be a system simlar to a Persian wheel or Noria.
They where used mainly for irigation perposes but if they where edited so the bucket/scoops to lift water with items floating in it. It would good idea, traditionaly it was powered by hand or via ox (cows basicaly).
This would allow for the water flows to be lifted alowing the water source to lift a few blocks e.g 5.
With the persian wheel you could even make it modular allowing it to lift more that 5 block.

Of course this just a idea, but if they were made so they needed one, two or even three waterwheels/ windmills to power them it would make it hard to make, making it only avalible to be used by long term player who had collected the supplies needed to make one.

Thanks
