O.K, I don't really know how to put this, but all, every single one, of my villagers just disappeared. The area around them was completely lit (I know from true sight), and there were 90 of them. I had one for each of the scrolls, even...
There is simply no way in which I can afford get them back, and from what seems to be a bug or something, all of my plans for a village have gone to shit. Could a mod or someone help me out please?

Like Megikeh said it was a server error I will probably be on the server tonight late drop a sign at my base (or at spawn) with the number of casualties and I will get you right fixed up. Also animals are gone to. So you might want to get me a number on them as well. Just a rough average is fine.

Ok, found a witch hut at last :D
There is a rail running 2/3rds of the way to the portal, and a covered path for the remainder distance (it has rails, but no powered ones). Of course we need to set up a witch farm now :P
It ends up about 8000 blocks out in the overworld.

Hey, been busy with two jobs, sorry haven't been on, will now be moving to Nevada for about 6 months for a damn good job that pays 40 bucks an hour, 40 hours a week, thats a serious amount of meat!! Anyways the Teamspeak3 server should stay up, but theres a possibility that I may have to cancel it for a month or two between my job changes when moving there and back, if this happens, know that this is not planned to be permanent and will be restored upon my return, of which I plan to hopefully get back to playing on the server. Oravoir, astalavista, sionara, tatafornow, and see you laters.

Any idea why the server's been down?

No idea why it crashed, nothing in the logs about it. All I can see is it shutting down after the daily restart. There is a MyMyAdmin report concerning the crash though:

Everything seems to be ok, apart from the fact that the Minecraft login server is down. :P

Several days have passed since the last incident, and the server has been acting very well. It seems to be very stable, and does the restarts/saves without any associated issues. I'm quite happy! =)

I'm looking forward to getting back to Edolas, but unfortunately won't be back online for some time to come still. I am still doing the BTW playthrough with Cowsgospace on a newly generated world, and don't want to spoil any of the BTW changes/additions until we have discovered and played with them.

I'll continue to monitor the server daily, it's one of the benefits of having a desk job. :P Also welcome to the few new members that have joined through Prof_Ion (his friends). As always, I don't like to whitelist completely unknown people, which does still include new forum members. However, if you have any personal friends you can vouch for, they will always be whitelisted based on your approval. =)

Competition time!!!!

In an attempt to get a bit of activity on the server again, I thought it would be fun to have a bit of a competition. Last time, we had a timed build (first to..) challenge. This time, I think it will be a aesthetic build challenge.

So here is the challenge! Build a new windmill or waterwheel (or combined) building that powers a millstone. Functionality of the millstone (space/water streams) is optional and completely up to you, it's all about aesthetics, what looks best. =)

The prize that is up for grabs, is a Crayon Physics Deluxe Steam Key!

Rules:
- It has to be a new build.
- Screenshots from start and build phase.*
- You can use any materials you want, as big or small and complicated as you want.
- You can work cooperatively, but there is only one prize.
- Screenshots from end result without a texture pack.**

The competition duration is not set in stone. As in: As soon as I have received the first 3 entries, there will be 2 weeks left for others to contribute/finish. I want at least 3 entries through, once the 3rd has been received I will clearly state on which day the competition ends for final submissions.

*In addition to the end result, I want to see a picture at the start of the build, and halfway through. To see the progress, and confirm it is a new build.
**You are welcome to design your build in any texture pack you want, and I would love to see screenshots in your design/texture pack. However, to judge the various builds fairly, I'd like to see the end result (screenshots) without a texture pack as well.

Hey FaceFoiled, I'm planning to return to Edolas soon and I was wondering if "Fluffypoofy" could be added to the whitelist? She's not a member of this forum (yet); I'm trying to convert her to BTW. She won't grief/steal/etc. Thanks :) Let me know if you need any more information
