Im going to rent a server and prices are based off RAM.
I was looking for some insight into how much i will require for a 5 person server running BTW.
We plan to have large mob farms and lots of automation so think it would be best to go up at 1.5 - 2gb, but would like some input if anyone has any.

Official one runs on 1.5gb.
We had time with almost 10 people in, and even if there is not as much automation as there would be on a more *friendly* server, I think it's a good base to start. 2gb and you shouldn't have to worry at all, if you can afford the extra :)
